The deepest point in the ocean is the Marianas Trench in the Pacific Ocean, plunging 6.85 miles down into the depths. The pressure at the bottom of the trench is so great that no multi-cellular life can live at the bottom. The deepest point of the trench is called the Challenger Deep, and is located near the Mariana Islands.

The longest distance anyone has ever swam is 3750 nautical miles, across the entire Atlantic Ocean. This was performed by Benoit Lecomte over the course of 72 days. He was guided by two sailors on a sailboat and he swam about seven hours a day for two hours at a time. Such extremely long distance swimming should not be attempted by anyone who is not specially trained.

The fastest marathon ever run by a human was two hours four minutes and 55 seconds. Covering a total distance of 26.22 miles, this gives an average speed of 12 ½ mph. This world record fastest marathon time was set by a Kenyan man named Paul Tergat in a German marathon in 2003.

The world’s biggest mountain range is the Andes Mountains in South America. This enormous mountain range spans a total of more than 4500 miles of mountains and has some of the tallest mountain peaks in the world except for the Himalayas which are little more than half as long but with much higher mountain peaks.

The world’s biggest tomato weighed a total of 7 pounds and 12 ounces. This record was set in Oklahoma in 1986. This tomato was grown by Gordon Graham, a painting contractor. This tomato was officially recognized and recorded as the world’s largest tomato by the Guinness Book of World Records.

What is the Largest Meal ever Eaten by a Human? +  

The largest meal ever eaten consisted of over 6000 calories of food. The meal consisted of 4 large pizzas, two banana splits, three glasses of coke, and a full gallon of clam chowder. This unbelievably large meal was consumed by a Scottish man in 1995. A larger meal eaten by a single person has not yet been officially recorded. Attempting to eat such an enormous quantity of food can be extremely unhealthy and even dangerous: do not do it.

What is the World’s Smallest Bicycle ever Ridden? +  

The smallest bicycle ever ridden by a person had a front wheel that was .43 inches in diameter and a back wheel just over ½ an inch in diameter. This absurdly small bicycle was successfully ridden a little over 16 feet by a Polish man named Zbigniew Rozanek in 1998. This unbelievably small bicycle was specially designed to carry the weight of a human and still balance is such an extremely small size.
