What is the Average Cost of Renting a Dumpster per month? Average Dumpster Rent Price

The average cost of renting a dumpster will vary from location to location. For example, it is much more expensive to rent a dumpster in New York City than it is in many other places. For a standard dumpster, which is 40 yards and has a maximum capacity of 7 tons, you will need a deposit of around $100-$300 dollars. You will get this deposit back if you return the dumpster on time and in the same condition you got it in.

The weekly price will vary between $20 and $40 dollars. Some companies charge $40 for the first week and only $15 for each week thereafter. The prices willl vary depending on the size you get, your location and sometimes the type of materials you are dumping.

If you are doing your own home repairs or remodeling, you might also consider a waste removal company because it might be cheaper. Waste removal companies take all of your waste, load it up into their own dumpster truck, and remove it for you for one flat rate. It will be more expensive that getting a dumpster but you don't have to do any heavy lifting.
