Pediatrician Job Description
Pediatricians look after and care for young people; from newborns to teenagers. Pediatricians diagnose and treat young patients, give exams, communicate with social workers and recommend treatment. Pediatricians typically work for hospitals or clinics. Some pediatricians are self-employed. Pediatricians can make anywhere from $100,000 to $250,000 a year, depending on where they work and live. Level of experience is also a factor in determining salary.
