Forensic Psychologist Job Description

A forensic psychologist is someone who assesses and tests patients who are imprisoned or in the process of receiving their sentence. Oftentimes, a forensic psychologist will stand trial to give their professional opinion of the patient, as well as work with law enforcement officers to educate the force on the behaviors of offenders. Forensic psychologists typically work in private practices or teach the subject in a university or college setting. Forensic psychologists make roughly $55,000 per year.
