What is the average cost of an Advertisement in a Newspaper? Price Range of a Newspaper or Magazine Ad

Newspaper advertisements can be extremely useful, boosting business, finding hired help or assisting with any number of other functions. Newspaper ads are also somewhat expensive, depending on where you take it out. A full page ad in the Washington post can cost as much as $100,000 for a full page ad. Wall Street Journal ads may cost between $160,000 and $210,000, depending on the choice between color and black and white. Many smaller city papers charge about $15,000 for advertisements. Luckily, local newspapers are a significantly less expensive alternative for most purposes. Small newspapers charge an average of $1,000, ranging from $500 to $2,000 in general.
