What is the Average Cost of living in Denmark per month/year?

The average cost of living in Denmark is more expensive than some European countries. The Consumer Price Index for Denmark is high at 115.51, excluding rent. The cost of basic food items at the supermarket, for example, ranges between $3 to $4 each. Dining out is no better. Two people could expect to spend about $90 for dinner at a restaurant.. A monthly pass for public transport is about $65 and the cost of utilities such as gas, electricity and water is $136 a month. Housing is quite expensive with the rent on a 3 bedroom apartment in the city is $2,540. To rent outside the city center and commute would be cheaper.
