What is in Roti? Ingredients, Calories and Nutrition Information for Roti

Roti is a traditional Indian and Pakistani food item made from stone ground, whole meal flour. Blended roti is made of whole wheat flour, barley flour, defatted soybean flour and black chickpea flour. In Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore roti is sometimes drizzled with condensed milk, rolled up and eaten as a snack or fried with egg. Plain roti contains 100 calories, 14 grams of protein, 55grams of carbohydrates, 15 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber. Roti is eaten by all classes; it is very healthy, not fattening and prevents constipation.
