Raita is a side dish served in Indian cuisines which is a blend of thick curd, fruits, vegetables and spices. For people who love raita, any meal feels unsatisfactory to them without raita. It depends on the user at home or the demand of the customer if he/she wants an intensely spicy raita or a mildly spicy one. Outside India, cucumber raita is most common. For seasoning cumin, coriander, black mustard seeds, mint, dill, and cayenne are used.
