What is Pyridoxine Hydrochloride? Food Additive Ingredients, Health, and Use

Pyridoxine hydrochloride is an ingredient found in many processed foods, but what exactly is it? Pyridoxine is a compound also known as vitamin B6 and is used to supplement vitamins in certain foods. Unless you consume pyridoxine in dosages over 200 mg per day, it is generally perfectly safe. If taken in higher dosages, it can cause neurological problems.
