What is Niacinamide? Food Additive Ingredients, Health, and Use
Niacinamide is a water soluble vitamin that is often used as a food additive in many processed foods. While niacin has certain toxic qualities as well as pharmaceutical uses, niacinamide does not share these properties. In large doses of more than 3 grams per day (far below that present in any processed food), niacinamide can be dangerous, causing damage to the liver.
