What is Dysphania Ambrosioides Used For? Health Benefits and Side Effects of Dysphania Ambrosioides in Food

Dysphania Ambrosioides is used a food additive. It contains essential oils. It is used as a leaf vegetable, in soups, with cheese, eggs and potatoes. It also has carminative properties and is thus beneficial for relieving gas and flatulence. Dysphania Ambrosioides relieves from abdominal bloating. It is used in the treatment of amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, malaria, chorea, hysteria, catarrh and asthma. It is anti-helmentic i.e. It aids in the killing of intestinal worms. It is also an abortifacient and anti-spasmodic. Side effects include pulmonary edema, increased heart rate and respiration and convulsions.
