What is Chorizo? Ingredients, Definition and Use

Chorizo is a type of sausage that has variations in many countries. The most commonly known perhaps are the Spanish and Mexican varieties, as well as Portuguese. Chorizo is made from pork that has been ground, heavily seasons with smoked red peppers such as peppery to or Mexican Spanish chorizoSpanish chorizochilies, and a variety of other spices. Mexicans and Spaniards often add ground coriander seeds for additional flavor. Chorizo is often fried or barbecued and eaten as an appetizer or main course, such as a filling for tacos.
