What is Artifical Liquid Smoke Flavor? Ingredients and Uses
Artificial smoke flavor is a relatively modern invention that was developed to impart a smoky flavor to foods without undergoing an actual smoking process. Artificial smoke flavoring is created by exposing certain oils and liquids to wood smoke so as to extract their flavor. Artificial smoke flavor has seen a variety of uses, particularly in cooking. Certain brands of barbecue flavored potato chips, barbecue sauce, and other food products all contain artificial smoke flavor.
