Pastry Chef Job Description

If you enjoy baking and creating fine desserts, then you would most likely be well-suited to a job as a pastry chef. In virtually all pastry chef job descriptions, the primary duties all revolve around crafting delicious pastries. But pastry chefs not only make these deserts, they also present them, decorating them in magnificent ways and preparing them as works of art to entice customers. Pastry chefs are also tasked with inventing new delicious desserts to be offered on the menu. To become a pastry chef, the educational requirements vary between establishments. Smaller scale businesses may only ask that you be a good cook, while other more prominent establishments might require a full education from a culinary school.
