NFL Coach Salary 2011
An NFL coach’s salary in 2011 is in the range of $2 million to $2.5 million. Experience and win record are the primary determining factors in an NFL coach's salary. A head coach takes home an annual salary of $3.5 million, which may vary depending on the team he coaches. Generally, contracts are signed for more than one year and further extended based on a coach’s individual performance that is often reflected by the team’s showing. Beginning NFL coaches make less than $1 million per year, but often earn much more as soon as their demonstrate their ability.
