Is Yogurt Alive?

You can say that some yogurts, real yogurt cultures, are actually alive. Active yogurt cultures are made up of different strains of “good bacteria” that aid the digestive system and the human body in various ways. They also help to rid the body of “bad bacteria” that can make people sick or compromise the immune system. There are other types of yogurt, which are made from milk fats and other ingredients but do not contain live active cultures. This type of yogurt cannot be considered alive.
