Is Plastic Healthy for your Kids? Plastic Health Risks

With the widespread usage of plastics in today’s society, many people, particularly parents, are asking the question: Is plastic healthy? The answer is not exactly clear-cut. Under the vast majority of cases, plastic poses no health risks whatsoever. However, there are certain circumstances that can cause plastic to be extremely hazardous to your health. For example, plastic that has been heated or burned can give off toxic fumes that may lead to serious health problems. Plastic dust that is sometimes present in freshly packaged products can lead to health problems over time as well. Also, plastic can always be a suffocation hazard.
