Is Mouthwash Healthy?

Oral hygiene is vital to remaining healthy. A normal oral health routine includes mouthwash to clean and protect your teeth. In fact, like brushing, mouthwash also needs to be done regularly to neutralize bacteria that may not only develop on the gum but also lead to serious respiratory problems. Dentists advise for a mouthwash with fluoride to strengthen your teeth and help protect them from cavities. Mouthwash with anti-plaque ingredients keeps your gums healthy. A word of caution will be to avoid using fluoride rinse more than once a day. Also, always remember to use a mouthwash that is alcohol-free and sugar-free. Similarly, spit out the rinse and do not swallow it.
