Is Macaroni Healthy?

If you don’t have macaroni and cheese regularly, it is healthy. For, macaroni has too much fats and simple sugars. In addition, it is also usually loaded with butter, cheese and whole milk. Macaroni salad can also be healthy depending on how it is prepared. It can be 430 calories per serving and 13 grams of fat. In the US, it is usually made by cooking the pasta with a sauce made from cheddar cheese, and the resultant dish is called macaroni and cheese or only macaroni. Though it is a comfort food, it is not considered as a healthy food for all the fat it contains.
