Is Cheddar Cheese Healthy?

One of the main health benefits of cheddar cheese is its high calcium content. However, what is not widely known is that it is a source of vitamin D, which is good for healthy bones. Vitamin D also helps the body absorb calcium. Cheddar cheese is healthier for you if it is dried first to do away with the some of the fat and cholesterol that it contains. Like many other cheeses, cheddar cheese is also considered to be healthy when it is used in moderation.
