Is Cheddar Cheese Good For You?

A regular diet that includes a moderate amount of cheddar cheese is good for you because it is a good source of calcium and other nutrients such as Vitamin D. Even pregnant women can include cheddar cheese in their overall diet, unlike certain soft cheeses. Regular Cheddar cheese is somewhat high in sodium and cholesterol. However, the low fat version of Cheddar cheese contains less fat and a slightly lower percentage of sodium and cholesterol.
