How to get Ninjavideo to work: Fixing broken Ninja Video and slow buffering
Ninjavideo has some great streaming videos, but they don’t always work. Here are some simple ways to fix Ninjavideo when it refuses to work:
If you are on a Ninjavideo page using the Divx player, try the following:
Right click on the Divx player and hit Preferences. In the second tab, make sure Download Cache has been enabled. In the Video Playback tab, turn off post-processing with the drop-down list.
Update your Divx Player.
If you are on a page using the Flash Player (such as Megavideo), try each of these steps:
Right click on the player and choose settings. The first tab is labeled Display. Turn off Hardware Acceleration to help compatibility with certain video cards. The third tab is labeled Local Storage. Drag the slider all the way to the right so that it says Unlimited.
Update the Flash Player
For both Divx and Flash:
Refresh the page, hit stop and then play, skip forward or backward in the video.
Hit pause on the video and allow it to buffer fully before starting playback.
If there is an audio sync problem, read our guide to fixing broken audio in streaming videos.
If after all this, Ninjavideo doesn’t work, try one of these alternatives.
