A 4-year bachelor degree in pharmacy from an accredited university is essential to become a pharmacist. There are numerous courses available for a degree course in pharmacy such as pharmaceutics, pharmacy management, pharmacy law, pharmacology, toxicology and anatomy. The main job of a pharmacist is to deliver drugs and medications to patients and also advise them properly on their use. It is necessary to possess a Doctor in Pharmacy and clear the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy Licensing Examination to get a pharmacist license.
