How Much Does a Sniper Make Per Year? Average Sniper Salary

To become a Sniper in the Armed Forces requires outstanding marksmanship in basic training before advanced training will be considered. Normally, pay is calculated according to rank achieved and time in service. Experience is also a major factor in determining the yearly rate of pay. A Marine Sniper can expect to earn on average $39,000 per year and an Army Sniper will be paid about $35,000.
