Head Chef Job Description

Anyone who has a serious interest in cooking has probably dreamed about becoming a head chef in a restaurant. But what is really involved with being a head chef? The head chef of many fancy restaurants actually does considerably less cooking than many of his underlings. Instead, he concentrates on creating original dishes to bolster the menu and increased the fame of the restaurant. However, as in most head chef job descriptions, not even a high school diploma is required if you have the expertise needed.
