Good Ways to Save Money around the House

Most people think that saving money is a serious chore and not really worth the time. But what would you say if you could save a few hundred dollars every month with almost no work at all? Here are some of the easiest and most overlooked ways to save money in your day to day life.
Saving money is easier than you thinkSaving money is easier than you think
1. Change Jar: While this may initially sound like a silly idea, think for a minute about how much change you lose on a daily basis simply because it is inconvenient. Just having a place to put your change takes the annoyance away and allows you to hang onto large amounts of money.

2. Sticking to a List: Many people have a tendency to spend much more when they go shopping without a specific list. Sticking to your list helps ensure that you don’t end up splurging on things that you don’t really need.

3. Don’t shop for groceries when you’re hungry: People tend to buy much more food than they actually need when they go to the store hungry. This also leads to picking up more in the way of snacks and unhealthy foods that tend to be more expensive than the essentials.
