Average Cost of an Apicoectomy in 2011

Similar to all dental procedures the apicoectomy is a costly affair. This is performed when root canal procedure fails to provide the relief as there is infection at the root tip and it has to be surgically removed. This procedure is covered under health insurance and will only cost you $100 if you have a health insurance that provides dental care. In 2011 if you are without insurance, this procedure may cost you anywhere from $500 to $2,000.
