Birth control pills are quickly becoming one of the most commonly used forms of birth control in current times. But are birth control pills bad for you or unhealthy? The answer to this question depends on how you look at it. Generally speaking, birth control pills are not particularly harmful to your body and are FDA approved in virtually all cases. With that said, it is important to note that there are side effects of using birth control pills. They are usually based upon hormones, and excessive levels of some of these hormones can cause health problems. Some side effects of birth control pills include headaches, nausea, and decreased libido.
